The XPS client automatically checks for stowage violations as you plan. If it finds any violations, it displays stowage warnings in the graphical views. You can also set the XPS client to check for stowage violations when you open a vessel. In addition, you can check a vessel's stowage any time by using the Check Stowage command.
The XPS client displays stowage issues in the Stowage Warnings window, in list format. You can modify the list by adding, deleting, or changing the order of columns, as with any other list in the XPS client. For more information, see Working with list views. You can also filter the list by selecting an option from the Display drop-down list.
For more information, see also Checking stowage.
To check for stowage problems:
From the Vessel menu, select Check Stowage.
In the Stowage Warnings window, review the list of stowage errors.
For each error, do the following:
Look at the container position.
Determine the stowage problem. (on page 1)
Re-plan the container to a slot that does not raise an error.
From the Vessel menu, select Check Stowage again.
The error list should no longer include the errors that you corrected.
